I absolutely loved holding both of my babies as often as I could. The only times I tried not to was when I was training them to sleep on their own, and I failed miserably at that . . . I loved sleeping with my babies (and it made it SO much easier to nurse them in the middle of the night, rather than getting up every 2-4 hours).

We all sometimes lose our direction in our lifes and this is the time when we need someone or something what will help us to get back and you helped me. Being mama is not easy but is my favorite 24h job and now I know Im doing the right thing. Thank you

And I definitely feel you on the lukewarm thing. I’ve had to adjust my abilities to cope with less than hot foods and beverages.

TJ, Couldn’t agree more on the studies being inconclusive. In an odd stroke of irony, that first study came out the DAY I discovered I was pregnant!!

I cut back significantly (from 5 cups a day to one) during pregnancy, with none in the first trimester because it made me feel sick(er.)

I still drink less coffee, mainly becuase i don’t have as much of an opportunity to enjoy hot beverages with the little one in my arms. And what I do drink? I’ve now learned to enjoy my caffeine hit lukewarm. LOL

Yeah, it’s just under a year since we started trying and what a journey it has been. She looks a lot like Piper at birth, but she definitely has bigger, more chubby cheeks.

I’m glad things seem to be going well with you and your little one.

Thanks. Not that I’ve been posting so much, though. The pain still flares up from time to time, mostly while at work, but the worst has passed.

Next would be to note the upper abdomen pain with vomiting so bad I went to the ER. They thought for sure that it was my gall bladder, but the test came back negative. When I followed up with my OB, I got a prescription for Zofran and a recommendation to take a Pepcid everyday, regardless of whether or not I had the nausea.

My first pregnancy was so easy, but the labor and delivery was killer. I keep wondering if maybe I’ll get an easy delivery this time.
